Welcome

Welcome to my "Professional Experience" Blog. Over the course of this module the blog will expand to cover all of the projects that I have worked on giving a detailed "behind the scenes" of the work that I have undertaken.

I'm a self taught musician and producer and have been playing since the age of 12. I started writing songs in my teens but didn't really do much after my mid 20's due to the pressures of work and family life.

10 years ago, I started to teach myself home recording techniques and through that medium I started writing again. It's been non stop since then and I have released 17 solo albums since 2016, plus a further 9 albums as part of collaboration projects.

I play occasional solo acoustic gigs these days. My days of late nights, lugging amplifiers up multiple flights of stairs are long gone !

Here is a recent live solo performance

In this project I will be working with the following talented artists,,,,,

"5 Guys Named Lars" (Danish based singer / songwriter / creator)

"Dave" (Local singer songwriter, starting off on his songwriting journey)

"The Jay Groovara Band" (Local two piece grunge band with a large catalogue of self penned songs and extensive live experience)

"Red" (Local experienced singer / songwriter with a great deal of live experience)

Objectives

Working with different clients on music-based projects is always fascinating and insightful, as each client will have different levels of experience, requirements, and expectations.

It is important to build a good working relationship with each client. Ensure that they understand what will be involved in each project and undertake as much pre-planning as possible to ensure that recording sessions run smoothly and time is used efficiently.

I aim to deliver a professionally recorded and produced piece of music for each of my clients, plus providing a clear and precise idea of how I will work. I want each client to feel comfortable and to get the most out of my services by providing excellent customer service and exceeding expectations where I can.
